FORMWORK & REINFORCEMENT

AutoDesk Authorized Developer

BricsCAD Developer

INTRODUCTION

The developmentg of BINGCAD Formwork & Reinforcement started in 1985, with one of the first AutoCAD versions.

In 1991, BINGCAD was ready for the market and we started with our market presence, support and the constant further development of the CAD formwork and reinforcement software.

Initially, the application was offered exclusively under the AutoCAD platform. Since BricsCAD entered the market in 2002, we have also been able to offer our formwork and reinforcement software on this platform.

As you can see for yourself in our BINGCAD engineer office , our program developers independently create formwork and reinforcement plans for engineering offices and are therefore involved in the daily processes on site, so they experience the requirements for formwork and reinforcement tools in a practical way.

This also guarantees that all new and further product developments are incorporated into the software

INTRODUCTION
PRODUCTS

In BINGCAD, all Austrian and German standard products for steel reinforcement, reinforcement meshes and special reinforcement elements such as rebend connections, spacer strips, etc. are available to the user. We are able to integrate every product you wish.

A variety of installation options help the constructor to a clear, technically clear and practical presentation.

You will be amazed at the amount of time you can save by efficiently laying the reinforcement.

BINGCAD allows the user many standard setting options, so you don't have to do without your usual appearance with your plans. Let yourself be won over by the wide variety of display options and labeling options.

Standard components (columns, beams, foundations...) and standard reinforcement situations (corner connections, transitions, area placement of reinforcement meshes...) are part of the standard repertoire of a reinforcement program.

The designer can assume that BINGCAD covers these requirements.

However, the quality of reinforcement software can be seen precisely when the bars are placed in "non-standard" objects.

BINGCAD shows its strengths precisely when reinforcing components with sophisticated architecture, conical, tapering formwork or in tank construction with round components.

Efficient and uncomplicated tools are made available to the designer in BINGCAD for staggered, tiered and fanned rebar placement (angle + leg lengths).

FORMWORK
Dimensions

In the past, AutoCAD dimensioning has increasingly adapted to the requirements of engineering offices and has been further developed.Dennoch  many designers do not want to do without the dimensioning integrated in the BINGCAD formwork module. The reasons for the high level of user satisfaction are not just the habit of BINGCAD dimensioning from earlier program versions, but also the simple creation of dimension chains, the uncomplicated editability and the variety of display options. The BINGCAD height mark dimensioning completes the functionality.

Formwork Tools

A large number of formwork commands make it easier to work on formwork plans.

Functions like

    - Enlarge / reduce certain plan areas,

    - sections and side views

    - projection tools

    - stair construction with or without decoupling

    - section label

    - a large library of symbols and blocks

help to achieve a technically clear and professional plan appearance.

REINFORCEMENT
Bar Steel

Bar Shape A - General Shape allows the user to define any bar shape with up to 10 leg lengths and angles.

These A-shapes, which are recurring in one's own area of activity, can be stored in the reinforcement library and are now available to the designer in an adapted form with minimal input effort.

All other standard reinforcement shapes B - W consist of a maximum of 3 partial lengths or partial angles and leave all the information for the reinforcement bending process in the steel list.

Bars defined and placed in this way can be placed in other placement areas, in side views, without any further input effort simply by selecting them.

This minimal user input when defining the bar, paired with a large number of display options when laying, guarantees that BINGCAD is one of the top reinforcement software in terms of time required.

Bar Steel Macros

Practice shows that reinforcement processes occur over and over again when reinforcing components.

Certain components such as the corners of walls, edging of openings, column reinforcement,   stirrup reinforcements or individual foundation reinforcements always consist of the same shaped iron, which only differ by different lengths or diameters.

BINGCAD offer corresponding macros are available to the designer for precisely these construction-deep reinforcements.

The user can display this standard reinforcement very quickly with a few presettings and then by showing areas.

BAR STEEL MACRO
Reinforcement Mats

BINGCAD offers the designer a variety of laying options for mesh reinforcement.

Individual laying, row laying  or area laying.

It is also possible to display or lay the mats in the floor plan and section.

BINGCAD provides decision bases such as:

  - coverage optimization

  - next smaller / larger partial mat

  - leftover mats

  - shock scheme available,

so that the user not only displays these area reinforcements like hatching, but also a sensible, economically and technically optimal laying of the mesh reinforcement.

Functions such as overlap labeling or changing the labeling information complete the options.

Special Products

Special elements such as:  represent a significant part of the product range.

   - rebend connectors

   - Spacer strips

   - punching strip

   - dowel strips

   - welded reinforcement cage.

BINGCAD provides the designer with the tools to graphically display these on the plan in all views, as well as the consistent positioning of these products on the plan and their steel list entry. The use of such special elements can be manufacturer-free or manufacturer-specific.

SPECIAL ELEMENTS
Reinforcement edit / duplicate

The extensive options that BINGCAD offers the designer when changing the reinforcement in terms of number of pieces, laying, alignment, dimension, cutting to length is one of the central advantages.

With these powerful editing functions, changes in the architecture / formwork or changed reinforcement specifications can be dealt with in a time-saving manner.

Duplicate reinforcement in the form of:

  - Copy reinforcement

  - Mirror reinforcement

  - Slide reinforcement

  - multiply reinforcement

  - Insert reinforcement from other drawings

makes BINGCAD  enormously efficient.

EDIT / DUPLICATE REINFORCEMENT
Reinforcement Library

BINGCAD gives the user the option of storing recurring reinforcements, such as column types and foundation types, in a library.

Over time, this library will grow with these recurring company-specific components.

After insertion into the drawing, these reinforcements can be further processed in the usual way with all editing and duplication functions.

Specific bar shapes that are not represented by the  standard bar shapes can also be stored in this library and are then available to all users in the company network.

REINFORCEMENT LIBRARY
Steel List

The core of every reinforcement software is of course the steel list.

BINGCAD recognizes identical bars during the reinforcement process and automatically assigns the position numbers.

Whenever the user desires, a steel schedule can be created on the plan. Each time the steel list is called up, the current planning status is displayed in the steel list.

BINGCAD provides the designer with a variety of functions:

  - Maintain positioning+ steel list

  - repositioning by character progression + steel list

  - repositioning after dimension + steel list

  - Lock steel listChoices like:

  - steel list on printer

  - Creation of ABS files for interface iron bending

  - Plan totals management for the entire construction projectcomplete the offer.

The appearance of the steel list can also be adjusted.

STEEL TOTAL MANAGEMENT
SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT
Steel / Plan Projectmanagement

BINGCAD provides steel sum management for an entire construction project. All steel totals of all plans in a subdirectory are updated in an Excel spreadsheet.

This gives the user the possibility to always have an overview of the total steel consumption of a construction project and to put this in relation to his steel estimates at the beginning of the construction project.

The overview of all plans of a construction project facilitates teamwork and communication with the construction site.
